  5. oh rach, it is wonderful to meet you and i'll say right off that the whole "preacher's wife" role you are anticipating? no sweat, you have one of those tender, loving, approachable personalities that i know will make a wonderful compliment to your husband.

    this whole post was beautiful. your family sounds like they love you just as much as it beamed from your own words on this.

  8. This video made me cry. You seem just so sweet and genuine. What an amazing and giving family you have. This touched me a lot too, because my fiancee and I are going to adopt after we marry. Very sweet story.

  9. I loved your video. Your sincerity and love for your family was so very evident, and their gift of love and support was amazing! We have 3 adopted little ones and I truly know how miraculous it is when God steps in like that.

  31. OK, I am SO GLAD I waited to watch this at home and not at work (even if it was a day late) because it made me tear up!

    The Lord will provide!!! What an amazing testimony of His blessing of your adoption. I am so excited to see where all this will go!

    You have an amazing family. I love the whole idea of charitable donations, but they took it even a step further. A little Korean baby is going to be greatly blessed by their selflessness one day.

    And you are TOO CUTE! I love your accent! :)

  34. Rachel, we just got back from our week long vacation visiting my out of state family. I have missed visiting you!
    I so wanted to do the I see what you are saying again, but I knew we would be on vacation on the 30th, so didn't do it. :)

  35. So I'm really really late, but...wow! It is SO great to hear your voice and sort of see you in person! You are absolutely darling and it makes me want to be friends with you in real life. Love the accent - I forgot your weren't from Indiana and I thought, Hey, she sounds just like my friends from Minnesota. :) Then I you mentioned that you grew up in Wisconsin...so there you go!

    Love your story...isn't God good to surround us with such awesome friends? I am so thrilled for you.
