tonight in the Frozen Tundra

Can you hear groaning? Weeping? Wailing?

Cries from the Frozen Tundra

The Frozen Tundra is in mourning tonight after the Packer's loss in overtime.

And if you think Josiah's upset....you should see his daddy!

Not good.

However, there are two very good things that happened in the Frozen Tundra tonight....

Josiah took FOUR unassisted, unprompted steps. TWICE!!!!!!!!

This mama is SO proud of my boy!!

AND (as if that wasn't enough goodness!)

Team Balboa (that would be Josh and I) are down 7.5 lbs collectively in our family weight loss challenge. Woot! We started out being the 2nd lightest team, so we weren't sure how we'd measure up to the other 7 teams, but we may just win this!

So a really BIG loss and two very BIG pluses tonight from the Frozen Tundra.

I'm goin' to focus on those pluses tonight! Yippee!!

  7. Cute!! My husband fell into his post-Packer loss depression last night. I should have taken it as an omen when our son Preston hand an accident and dirtied his first Packer outfit right before the game.
