Moments of his 10 months of life in Korea captured in photographs.
Everyday images of him in the home of his loving {foster} family.
Proof that he was just as precious and adorable and loved before as he is now.

I am forever thankful for and cherish each one. And I know Josiah will, too.

They are a priceless link to his life
before.

before there was me, there was her

IMG_0004

His beautiful foster mother. His beloved "Omma". The woman who loved him so deeply and cared for him since the day he came home from the hospital.

This {and every} Mother's Day, we celebrate her. As well as the one who was even before her....the brave, special mother who came first.

We may not get to see them or speak with them, but they are precious and matter to us. They may have come before, but they are forever linked to the son we all share. They are his mother, too, and they are loved.

  27. The last part about Si's other mothers brought a tear to my eye. Put so well, Rachel. Lovely.

Now about those "before" photos - awwwww. How very precious to have those. I have to say my favorite is the one of Josiah in a diaper and white shirt just looking up from the brown mat. What an angel.
