let's play a guessing game, shall we?

Seminary assignment day is fast approaching!

Next Thursday morning we'll know where
Josh will be serving as the pastor...
and the place our little family will be calling home.

The nerves haven't completely set in...yet.
I'm mostly just thankful to finally be almost there!

You know what else I'm thankful for?
Games.
I love games.
So let's play one, shall we?

It's simple.
Just give a guess
as to where you think
our little family of 3
will be moving to!
City or state or region or whatever.

There really is no point to this game,
except for me to get a kick out of your guesses.
And to distract me from the
{nervous, but excited!}
knot that's beginning to form
in the pit of my stomach.

Someone pretty important
already knows exactly where we'll be.
His plan is fantastic and perfect.

And we trust Him and
will follow Him.

But it's still fun to guess, right?!

Ok, then let's play...

where in the world

  17. I'm saying Davenport, IA because my Grandma told me recently that Gethsemane needed a Pastor there. I personally know several awesome families there that would fall in love with you guys!! You are right, no matter where he is called, it's a Divine Call and the beginning of a new season in your lives together!

  19. I'm hoping for Peace Lutheran in Sun Prairie...just down the street from here! But I also think it could be somewhere abroad. We're thinking of you and all the others in Josh's class and can't wait to hear where the Lord is taking you!

  25. Ooooo, I'm lovin' all these guesses!!!

Today I'm feeling like Hawaii would be an excellent place to settle down. :-)

  26. I'm thinking State of Washington, since Josh mentioned that last week. My heart says WISCONSIN!!!

  27. Well, I'll join with the selfish guesses...anywhere in New England would put you close enough for a day visit...Connecticut, even better! We can drive across the entire state in less than three hours.

Hawii would be fun but not practical for visiting family. I hear the Carolinas are nice. Maybe you'll be able to stay in Wisconsin to be near Josiah's grandparents.

I KNOW God surely has the perfect church picked out for you! Can't wait to hear.

  28. Oh fun game!! I see that Krista already said Seattle for me (thanks Krista!), and another of your blog friends said State of WA. THAT would be cool (at least for me :) As another guess, I'm going with Hawaii since that is where I am right now and I do believe you would love it here (obviously) and then we could have our next GBFGT at YOUR PLACE! Ha!
